Feast of Tabernacles
October 14, 2025
Last Great Day / Eighth Day
The Feast of Tabernacles is one of the seven God-ordained holy days outlined in Leviticus 23. It reveals God’s master plan for the redemption of mankind—a plan that was observed by Jesus Himself (John 7:1–39), the apostles including Paul (Acts 18:21), and even the Gentile believers in the early Church (Colossians 2:16). The Bible prophesies that this Feast will be observed by all nations when Christ returns to establish His Kingdom on earth (Zechariah 14:16–19).
This Feast pictures the coming 1,000-year reign of Christ—the Millennium (Revelation 20:4, 6)—a time of global peace, healing, and restoration. During this age, humanity will be reconciled to God and to one another (Isaiah 2:4; 11:9–10). The earth itself will be renewed, and even the nature of animals will be transformed (Isaiah 11:6–9; 35:6–7). This is the beginning of God’s Kingdom on earth (Daniel 2:44; 7:14, 18, 22, 27).
This Festival also points to the ultimate “rest” foreshadowed by the Sabbath (Hebrews 4:1–11), when the nations will learn God’s ways and live in peace and prosperity (Micah 4:1–7). Christ’s Elect will serve as kings and priests, helping administer God’s righteous rule (Revelation 5:10).
Throughout this Festival, you’ll hear messages that proclaim God’s wonderful plan—including the meaning of the Eighth Day or Last Great Day. These truths offer hope, purpose, and a vision of the future God is preparing for all humanity.
As you listen, may you be encouraged, strengthened, and filled with the joy of God’s coming Kingdom.
